| Bio: | Who: Me. I'm also known as thefourthvine on GJ and thefourthvine on LJ. The majority of my content is on LJ, but it will be here, too, soon. What: I nominate the very best in fan fiction for the very silliest of pretend awards, the Slashy. How: Via a mystical process involving a keyboard, key limes, 100% wool handspun yarn, a metronome, and a Labrador Retriever. Why: It's a compulsion, really. I'm trying to work out some kind of medication schedule that will take care of this. When: When the thyme is ripe. Where: Who knows? Friends By all means, friend me; I will rejoice. I used to friend back everyone who friended me. I don't have very many friends slots, though, so I can't do that right now. I still usually look at the journals of people who have friended me, and I most definitely check out the LJs of people who comment. If I don't friend you, it doesn't mean I don't love you, because I do - I so totally do. It's just, you know, space issues. Also, I don't friend totally empty journals; that's not because I don't love the lurkers - I do! - but, hey, there's this the friends slots shortage. If you got to this page because I friended you, I like your recs, your stories, or both. Or, you know, maybe I just like you. If you write fic, it's possible that I recently recommended one of your stories; I try to friend everyone I rec. If I unfriend you, it's not because of anything you said, or did, or, you know, ate. I do friends-lock stuff occasionally, but my recs and my rants, which are what most people come here to read, are always completely unlocked. (My motto is "Porn! Porn for all!" I try to make it a reality. Won't you try, too?) I hardly ever post to filters. If you don't friend me, or I don't friend you, you really aren't missing much in these parts. Sad but true. Well, the info section is for facing the hard facts, yes? Last but not least: you are, of course, free to defriend me for any reason at all. I won't resent it or argue or whine. (Well, I'll whine; for me, whine is like oxygen. But I won't whine about that.) Comments I read and appreciate every comment I get, and I try to reply to all of them. But "try" was the operative word in that sentence. If I don't reply to a comment you left, believe me, I still read it and loved it and cuddled it to my heart; RL just ate up the time I had for replying to it. If you read something I nominate, I'd like to hear about it; in particular, I'd like to know if you enjoyed it or not. If my suggestions cause you to read something outside your normal fan fiction horizons, I would love to hear about that. And if a link is broken - inevitable but regrettable - please comment and I'll fix it if I can. (Some stories disappear for good, sad to say.) If you read this journal but you don't want to comment or you don't have a LJ at all, I'd love to hear from you anonymously or by email.
